Wilford Lane Garage joins Next Lap RC Academy

We are delighted to welcome Wilford Lane Garage as a sponsor of Next Lap RC Academy.

Wilford Lane Garage joined us on 13 October 2026 and has kindly provided funding to support our RC track timing system.

What Wilford Lane Garage does

Wilford Lane Garage is a long-standing MOT testing, servicing and car repair garage based in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The team takes real pride in its work, treating every vehicle as if it were their own and keeping customers confidently on the road.

Timing our track

Lap timing is an important part of making our track feel like a genuine racing experience for pupils. Wilford Lane Garage's support will go towards a SkyRC LapWiz timing system, which we are looking to purchase for the track. This will let pupils see live lap times, track their progress and enjoy some friendly competition as their driving improves.

We are very grateful to Wilford Lane Garage for its generous support and for helping us bring a proper racing feel to the academy's first track.
