Bricks McGee joins Next Lap RC Academy

We are delighted to welcome Bricks McGee as a partner of Next Lap RC Academy.

Bricks McGee joined us on 11 September 2026 and has provided funding to help us develop the academy and prepare for our first club.

What Bricks McGee does

Bricks McGee delivers engaging, interactive workshops with LEGO bricks for museums, libraries, schools, businesses and other organisations across the UK. Its activities include creative building challenges, robot battles, free-form play and educational team-building experiences.

Learning by doing

That practical approach closely matches what we want young people to experience through RC.

The academy will use radio-controlled cars to encourage patience, problem-solving, teamwork and curiosity. Pupils will not only learn to drive; they will also begin to understand how the cars work and how small changes can affect performance.

We are grateful to Bricks McGee for its funding and for supporting our belief that the best learning often starts with making, testing and having fun.
